Dr. Chris Jenkins is a faculty member of In His Image Family Medicine Residency Training Program in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he also completed his residency requirements. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He is a staff physician at St. John Medical Center. Before going into medicine Dr. Jenkins completed M.Div. and Th.M. degrees at Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. Jenkins is Conference Director for Family Medicine Education International and spends approximately two to three months overseas each year. FMEI has had held teaching events in more than 25 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Southern Europe. Over the last twenty-five years in his role as Conference Director Dr. Jenkins has conducted over 200 family medicine conferences, seminars and consultations. He is a member of HOME’s Advisory Council. He sits on CMDA's Medical Education International advisory committee and other boards as well. He has M.Div. and Th.M. Degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary. He was given the Gabriel Smilkstein Memorial Award by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine for the promotion of family medicine globally.
Dr. Raad is considered one of the leading experts and physician inventors in the field of healthcare-related infections and infections in cancer worldwide. An Endowed Distinguished Chair and Professor of Medicine, Dr. Raad has chaired the University of Texas MD Anderson's Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control and Employee Health for 21 years. Over the last two decades, Dr. Raad has been widely honored for creative research, compassionate patient care and outstanding teaching and mentorship with more than 30 prestigious national and international awards, some of which are listed below. Dr. Raad has published over 525 scientific articles in high impact peer-reviewed journals and over 40 book chapters. He holds more than 125 issued patents and more than 20 provisional pending patents, most of which are already applied to patient care. Because of this, Dr. Raad ranks in the upper 1% of physician inventors at MD Anderson in terms of patent productivity. He co-authored CDC and IDSA Guidelines, on vascular Catheter-Related Infections from 2001 till now. In 1995 he served as an Advisory Reviewer of the United States Congress report on antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

As the Vice President of Programs and Government Relations for the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, Ken has decades of experience helping millions who were victims of disaster, disease, famine, poverty, persecution, and war. He has served in hot spots around the world and has developed strategic initiatives to respond to dire emergencies in complex environments. Ken envisioned and developed the Emergency Field Hospitals, which Samaritan’s Purse has deployed worldwide to provide life-saving care in crisis situations, staffed by specially trained teams of doctors and nurses. To multiply the organization’s capacity, he developed a system of DARTs (Disaster Assistance Response Teams), who work around the clock to provide logistical support and essential supplies. Following the Biblical example of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), Samaritan’s Purse specializes in being first on the ground in emergency situations, thanks to a fleet of cargo jets that include a Boeing 757 and a DC-8.
Recently Ken published a book called "Running to the Fire" This action-packed memoir takes us from the 1989 Ethiopian famine to the 1994 Rwandan genocide to the 2011 Japanese tsunami up to today’s worldwide crises―and the countless decisions, dangers, and prayers along the way.
