Dr Louis Pisters
Dr Pisters has been Professor of Urology at M.D. Anderson for the last 33 years. He is the current Board Chair of the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS). Over the last 20 years, he has made numerous short-term trips to Cameroon, Gabon and Malawi to conduct hands-on urology training of general surgeons in the PAACS program. Dr Pisters is an active member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and the College of Surgeons of East, Central and South Africa (COSECSA). He has been married to his wife Jane for 39 years and we have two grown married sons, Phillip and Andrew.
Dr Issam Raad
Dr. Raad is considered one of the leading experts and physician inventors in the field of healthcare-related infections and infections in cancer worldwide. An Endowed Distinguished Chair and Professor of Medicine, Dr. Raad has chaired the University of Texas MD Anderson's Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control and Employee Health for 21 years. He is a current member of CMDA and is a FACP, FIDSA and FSHEA. Dr Raad is the Founder and President of HOME. Dr Raad and his wife Lamia have been married for 42 years and have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
